MidCity Connect (the app) is operated by Brown Technologies Inc. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We built the app to be privacy-first: your activity is tracked anonymously and is never tied to your name.
Email address. Used only to create and secure your account (sign-in and password reset).
Anonymous usage data. Which deals are redeemed and general app activity, used to improve the app and report district-level trends. This data is pseudonymous: stored as anonymized identifiers, not linked to your name or contact information.
We do not sell your data. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics SDKs. We do not track you across other apps or websites. We do not tie your purchases or redemptions to your identity: merchants and district managers see patterns and totals, never individuals.
Aggregated, anonymous statistics may be shared with participating merchants and district stakeholders. We share personal information only with our infrastructure provider (Supabase) as needed to operate the service, and when required by law.
Redemption tokens are deleted within 24 hours. Anonymous analytics are retained for up to 180 days. You may delete your account at any time, which removes your personal data.
In the app you can change your password, enable or disable notifications, and permanently delete your account under Account > Delete Account. You can also email us to have your account removed.
MidCity Connect is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13.
